ROSIER

Rosier (formerly Les Poules à Colin) were raised behind the scenes at folk festivals in a region famous for its living heritage. Despite their young age, they have been playing together for over 9 years and it shows in their sparkling complicity. They've performed in major cities and small towns in Canada, the US, Europe, the UK, Australia and Africa, amassing a wealth of impressive experience. Rosier pushes further the exploration of alloys between Quebec folk and the mix of indie, jazzy, pop, bluegrass and contemporary styles. The bi-lingual band immerses us in their universe through original compositions, sophisticated arrangements, harmonic progressions and reinvented traditions. International appeal while remaining universally accessible, female fronted, and high energy.

'Get ready world, this group is...on its way to greatness." Jonathan Overby, Wisconsin Public Radio, Concert review @ Edinburgh Fringe 2017
